Organic Agriculture (Rota Vicentina)

The West Coast (Costa Vicentina) holds numerous values that go far beyond the beautiful beaches or the wild coastal landscape. Agriculture has its particularities, especially the one made in the traditional and sustainable ways. In this activity we will meet António Rosa, a local farmer, born in Rogil, who has dedicated quite early to the rescue of local agricultural varieties and to organic production. We will join him on a morning activity in his farm, learn about the techniques he practice on a daily basis and taste some of his products, such as wine or peanuts, known here as “alcagoitas”. In the end, we’ll have a homemade meal, prepared by himself, with his products!
